Most adults do not like the prospect of having to wear braces. However, most adults also want straight teeth. Invisalign is great way to straighten your teeth without having to endure the embarrassment of a "metal mouth."
As the name implies, Invisalign is not very noticeable. It's a series of clear, plastic, custom-made mouth trays, called "aligners." These aligners are worn day and night, typically for about a year. However, the aligners are changed at regular intervals, usually about once a month. This series of aligners gradually moves the teeth into a straighter, more correct position.
Straightening teeth takes time and Invisalign is a much less visible way to accomplish it. The aligners are comfortable, and the process is relatively easy. After some initial computer modeling, there's not much that you have to do except wear the aligners on a regular basis.
